Have a glittering Christmas with Homesense (& giveaway).
Are you ready for Christmas?
Forgive me, but I need to talk to you about Christmas. Yes, I know it’s only October, but I’m on a mission!
Usually, I’m the first one to suck air through my teeth and ‘tut’ when I see the Christmas displays vying for our attention amidst the plethora of pumpkins and witches hats. However, this year I don’t want to miss out on the Christmas bargains at HomeSense because after many, many years with our faithful 5ft artificial tree, we’ve finally upgraded to a larger, more substantial tree, (a New Year’s Sale bargain). Consequently, we need to find some decorations to hang on all the additional branches.
I knew I’d find something fabulous at my local HomeSense store because I’d already had a sneak peek. Yes, dear readers, some of you may think October is too early to mention Christmas, but I was checking out baubles, gifts and decorations in July at the HomeSense and TK Maxx Christmas Preview in London.
HomeSense Christmas Preview Event.
The enjoyed my very first Christmas Preview Event and not just because of the complimentary glass of prosecco, the canapes or the little goodie bag. I was impressed by the wide range of decorations, ornaments and gifts, as well as the seasonal tableware for parties and meals. It gave me an enticing taste of what to expect when the Christmas displays hit the HomeSense and TK Maxx stores.
Here’s a selection of some of the beautiful sets at the preview event:
Christmas has arrived at a HomeSense store near you.
I visit the Nottingham HomeSense store most weeks, on my way to my voluntary work as a debt adviser at Cornerstone Money Advice. The Nottingham store always puts on a wonderful Christmas display so when I popped in last week I was delighted to see shelves bursting with lots of sparkly goodness.
Mission: Baubles.
Most years I’ve been happy to wander round and gaze at all the shiny things, but this year I was on a mission: I needed baubles! Thankfully, it didn’t matter that I’d missed the January sales on the High Street as the prices in HomeSense are discounted all year round. I picked up a set of 6 beautiful blown glass baubles, reduced from £5.99 to £2.99 and a box of unusual glittery bells to hang on our lovely new tree for only £12.99.
I love that HomeSense don’t just sell your average assortment of bells and baubles: there are some lovely unique items and treasures too. In fact, I’d say there’s something for everyone, even if you do occasionally have to move aside the dancing snowmen to find decorations that are more to your taste! Unless the dancing snowmen are to your taste…No judgment here!
Just remember, because prices at Homesense and TK Maxx home are up to 60% less than the usual retail price, they won’t hang around forever. Once they’re gone, they’re gone! I’ve already bought my beautiful bargain baubles, so why don’t you?
Feast your eyes on some of the glittering Christmas items HomeSense and TK Maxx have to offer this Christmas.
