Anyone for (FREE) tennis? Great British Tennis Weekend 16th-17th July.
Great British Tennis Weekend.
The Wimbledon Tennis Championships 2016 are here so it must be summertime, (even if the Great British weather hasn’t quite got the message yet). Although I haven’t played much tennis in recent years, I absolutely love watching the Wimbledon Championships. I’m sure I’m not the only one who gets swept along by the wave of enthusiasm that surrounds the two weeks of tennis at the All England Lawn Tennis Club. It always leaves me feeling inspired and determined to dust off my racket and play.
That’s why I’m delighted to be working with the LTA to promote their Great British Tennis Weekend (GBTW). The GBTW is an opportunity for families to take part in FREE tennis activities at clubs all across the UK. It takes place on Saturday 16th July and Sunday 17th July 2016.
Not wanting to miss out on the family fun, I’ve already booked our FREE tennis sessions at the local David Lloyd Club in Nottingham. I’ve booked an ‘All Stars and Tots’ session for our 9-year-old daughter and a ‘Family Time’ session for all four of us. What’s more, as part of GBTW, David Lloyd are also offering families FREE use of the leisure facilities with their booking. We can’t wait to pick up our rackets and have some fun together, especially when it’s absolutely free.
GBTW offers tennis fun for everyone at clubs across the UK.
Whether you’ve been playing tennis for years or you’ve never picked up a racket, the LTA has organised a programme that offers something for everyone. Why not see what your local club has on offer for Great British Tennis Weekend and book some activities for you and your family?

Over to you.
Do you enjoy playing or watching tennis? Are you planning on signing up for some of the free family tennis activities on offer for GBTW?
As Always, I love to hear from you.
