Criteria for the best DIY and craft blog.
So what are the judges looking for in my category?
Blogs nominated in the BEST DIY AND CRAFT category may feature entire room transformations as well as individual furniture projects. They are the best blogs out there for DIY and crafts ideas & inspiration. For those that have the impressive talent of creating enviable interiors using their own bare hands and a few essential tools, these blogs are testaments to creativity. Nominees in this category need to show insightful do-it-yourself tips and projects, each with clear step-by-step instructions for readers to carry out at home; use high-quality images alongside instructions to assist with each task, place an emphasis on creating home accessories and interior features using bare hands & tools.

Why vote for me?
I’m passionate about DIY and crafts and although these subjects aren’t the sole focus of my blog, they are an integral part of it. I’m proud of my DIY and craft posts and all of the blood, sweat, and tears that have gone into the makeovers, the photos and the writing, (which takes ages)! I’ve operated on minimal sleep for months trying to ensure I give you my very best, be it makeovers, DIY, money-saving tips or my random musings.
Whilst considering how DIY and craft influence me and my blog, I’ve come realise the last 12 months my life have been one massive DIY project and I’m not just talking about room makeovers and making soft furnishings. Ever since starting Maflingo, my blogging journey has been an exercise in Do-it-Yourself’! I’ve designed a logo. I’ve designed blog pages. Then, from the moment my blog went live, I’ve been building my social media presence, my readership and my relationship with brands. DIY has been a constant theme, even though ‘blog DIY’ isn’t one of the criteria for this particular award!
I look at all of the amazing interior blogs out there and think, ‘I don’t stand a chance’! I’ve only been blogging for 8 months and my blog is so much broader than DIY and crafts. How can I possibly compete? That’s when I have to remind myself, it’s not me that has to make that decision, it’s you!
So if you like reading my blog, if you find my DIY and craft posts and tutorials useful or inspirational then vote for me!

Vote for me!
With so many incredible and well-established blogs out there, it’s hard for me to believe that folks would even consider voting for my little blog. Then again, I’ve put so much work and effort into my DIY and craft posts since I started blogging that it would be amazing if it were recognised.
If Maflingo is your favourite DIY AND CRAFT BLOG then I would be very grateful if you could click on the image (badge) below and vote for Maflingo:
Thank you so much!
