My week in pictures: 7 days of #Floorselfies fun.
A few weeks ago I was invited to participate in Luxury Flooring & Furnishings #Floorselfies campaign. I was immediately taken with the idea of capturing a week in my life in #Floorselfies. I love photography, so it would give me chance to be creative, whilst having a bit of fun in the process.
It was a bigger challenge than I expected. Firstly, because I discovered the selfies needed to be selfies of my face, not my feet, on lots of different floor surfaces. Secondly, I wanted to capture #floorselfies of me in the places that not only mean something to me but have interesting floors too!
Well, I rose to the challenge, had lots of fun, and I’m really pleased with the results!
My week in #Floorselfies.
Day 1.
Day 2.

DAY 2. We love being out in the garden and Mr T and Greenthumb have got it looking fabulous! Here’s me enjoying the sunshine and laying on my favourite Homesense pink tartan picnic blanket.
Day 3.

DAY 3. Hanging out at my friend Julie’s house. She has a beautiful home with lots of lovely rugs, carpets and tiles. Here I am in her living room on her luxurious rug.
Day 4.

DAY 4. I’m at church today, where I work as a Volunteer Debt Adviser for Cornerstone Money Advice. This lovely new building has a room for our toddlers with these brightly coloured, floral patterned carpets.
Day 5.

DAY 5. I’m out having coffee at a friend’s house again (But if Mr T. asks, I’ve been very busy). I absolutely love this colourful Paul Smith inspired rug!
Day 6.

DAY 6. I’m at Julie’s house again! This time, I’m laying on the tiled floor in her kitchen with Rocky the dog! I love Rocky!
Day 7.

DAY 7. I’m visiting my sister in Sale. This time, I’m hanging out with two of my favourite people, my nephew and niece, on their Amtico kitchen floor.
My 7 day #Floorselfies challenge is complete!
I’ve really enjoyed this project. I had to think about creative ways to capture #floorselfies and it’s not as easy as it looks. My arms were aching by the end of the week from holding my selfie stick and working with dogs and children added a further challenge too!
What do you think? Which of these floorings and photos is your favourite?
As always, I’d love to hear from you.

This is a collaborative post but as always, the words and opinions are my own.
