Clumber Park, near Worksop, Nottinghamshire, is one of our favourite destinations for a family day out. There’s always been plenty to do at Clumber Park, but in recent years the National Trust have added a Discovery Centre and developed the Adventure Playground, giving us all the more reason to keep coming back.

It’s the end of an era. As our daughter says goodbye to a much-loved teacher, I pay a tribute to all teachers with my thank you poem, an Ode to Teachers.
